Connect your calendar and email

Dibs adds most of your to-dos for you, but not every one. If you notice something's missing, add it yourself for this week, or set it to repeat every week.

Forward any email to your own Dibs address:

Forward any email with a date or something to do, like a school form or a dentist reminder. Dibs keeps the to-do, never the email.

On Free, Dibs reads up to 10 forwarded emails a month.

Forward automatically from Gmail

On a computer, open Gmail. Tap the gear, then See all settings, then Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Add a forwarding address and paste your Dibs address. Gmail sends a confirmation code to Dibs, and it shows up right here.
Now pick the senders that matter. In Gmail's search bar, open Show search options, put the school, the dentist, or the electric company in From, then Create filter and Forward it to your Dibs address.

Forward automatically from Outlook

In Outlook, open Settings, then Mail, then Rules, then Add new rule.
Pick who it's from (the school, the dentist), choose Forward to your Dibs address, and Save.

Calendar

Paste a calendar's link, and Dibs checks it every hour for things coming up in the next three weeks.

Calendar link Name it

Dibs reads your calendars with Plus. Forwarding email works on Free.

Get the link: iPhone (iCloud)

Open the Calendar app and tap Calendars.
Tap the (i) next to a calendar, turn on Public Calendar, then Share Link and Copy.
Anyone with that link can see that calendar, so only share it with Dibs. Calendars under "On My iPhone" can't be shared this way.

Get the link: Google Calendar

On a computer, open Google Calendar, then the gear and Settings.
Under "Settings for my calendars", pick the calendar, then Integrate calendar.
Copy the Secret address in iCal format (it ends in .ics). Keep it secret: anyone with it can see that calendar.

Get the link: Outlook

In Outlook.com, open Settings, then Calendar, then Shared calendars.
Under Publish a calendar, pick the calendar and Can view all details, then Publish.
Copy the ICS link.

New events show up in "Dibs found these" within the hour.
